Lately, I've been wondering if anyone else feels like they're paying more and getting less.
It seems like almost everything has gone up in price, but the quality hasn't kept up. In some cases, it's actually gotten worse.
One example that really stands out to me is **home printers**.
You can buy a printer for under $100, which sounds like a great deal. But then you discover the ink cartridges cost almost as much as the printer itself. Sometimes replacing all the ink is actually more expensive than buying a brand-new printer. And just when you need to print an important document, it suddenly says one color cartridge is empty—even if you're only trying to print in black and white.
It almost feels like the printer was designed to sell ink, not print documents.
Fast food is another one. A few years ago, it was the affordable, quick option. Today, it's easy to spend $20 or more for one meal, and the portions seem smaller than they used to be.
It makes me wonder...
What product used to be a great value but just isn't worth the money anymore?
